  2. at what part of that guide are you getting stuck at.
  3. yes L/E goes in /Library/Extensions not the one in system folder.
  4. you have to put the Extra folder on the usb stick
  5. do you have darkwake=0 flag set?
  6. did you try adding PartitionDXE driver to clover like i suggested a few posts back?
  7. hmm ok in the kext info.plist file at the bottom of the list is a section <key>OSBundleLibraries</key><dict> under that entry add <key>com.apple.iokit.IOHIDFamily</key> <string>1.4</string> it should look like this after <key>OSBundleLibraries</key> <dict> <key>com.apple.iokit.IOHIDFamily</key> <string>1.4</string> <key>com.apple.iokit.IOHIDSystem</key> <string>1.0.0b1</string> <key>com.apple.kpi.iokit</key> <string>9.0.0</string> <key>com.apple.kpi.libkern</key> <string>9.0.0</string> <key>com.apple.kpi.mach</key> <string>9.0.0</string> <key>org.emlydinesh.driver.ApplePS2Controller</key> <string>4.6</string> <key>org.emlydinesh.driver.ApplePS2Keyboard</key> <string>4.6</string> </dict> then save changes and rebuild your cache if it is in S/L/E or E/E... if it is in clover folder then boot without caches.
  8. latest as in yesterday release version developer 8 or public beta 7?
  9. hmm i see you have a microsoft partition try adding the clover option for hybrid mbr partition dxe option in clover installer
  10. what does diskutil cs list output?
  11. are you running latest DP or PB im on latest Developer Preview and trackpad prefpane opens. try repairing your disk in disk utility.
  12. that should not affect your fans. you might be having other issues like dust clogging your heat sink fan or maybe need fresh thermal paste
  13. did you try setting PM in terminal to mode 0? sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 it is usually set to 3 by default
  14. did yo follow this part? The system will boot into the new drive, and complete the installation… 14. Launch the terminal and enter the following command diskutil list Note: If you see the following, then follow steps in Post #3 Under Core Storage before proceeding /dev/disk1 (internal, virtual): if it is a core storage disk it will not be detected.
  15. what mode is bios booting in UEFI or legacy?
  16. what is your sata controller set to in bios? usually osx needs AHCI support. if the boot loader is loading from a usb pen then try different ports.
  17. most likely there is a { or } in the wrong place or in excess
  18. you have to zip files before attaching them to post if not it will not permit it.
  19. on some machines there are bios options for things like that low power use during battery use. sometimes the options name does not imply it clearly though.
  20. mine did once the screen went out that was it i had to force shut down and reboot. i think i had to use caffeine or something like that. idk whatever it was it was enough to annoy the shit out of me to the point of loading windows on it and giving it away... lol unfortunately i might still have another one of those machines lurking around somewhere. "just when you think you where out you get pulled back in!!!!"
  21. if i remember on my old d620 nvidia that was one of the issues with it. you could not let the machine sleep i know on the d620 intel and d430 you had to have a bios password to get it to wake back up properly.
  22. you can also use myhack to repuild cache with a myfix / quick. like herve sugest's intel wifi does not work in osx.
  23. well make sure your booting with arch=i386 flag
  24. i think you have to rerun myhack then there might be the option to use the unzipped extra folder. D620 nvidia will not run elcap D630 Nvidia will.
  25. Facetime and Imessege usually do not work. you have to either spoof a real mac or get lucky with your serial number. so the only real issue you had was your audio. and that you probably needed to patch the new 10.11.6 applehda.
