  3. You can follow my Catalina guide and use bootpack https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/6006-optiplex-9020-mavericks-el-capitan-sierra-high-sierra-mojave-catalina/?do=findComment&comment=66853
  4. Switch back to 13 and confirm if your codec is ALC295 If yes, you can also try layout-id 3 and 15.
  5. I'm not familiar with Gibmacos and how it formats your Installer but it should be using GUID / Journal Extended, not APFS As for BD Utility, it will only create a Recovery Disk which requires to download the image during installation. From what I have read, it's not working for some where network is not working during install.
  6. Could be possible since he only has 4GB ram as noted on the 1st post.
  7. Seems the only difference from my attached files is the additional FB patch which can be accomplished by adding the hot patch to KextToPatch rather than actually patching the kext. sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x05\x03\x00\x00\x02\x00\x00\x00\x30\x02\x00\x00|\x05\x03\x00\x00\x02\x00\x00\x00\x30\x00\x00\x00|' /System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleIntelFramebufferCapri Comment: Flickering screen Fix Find: 050300000200000030020000 Name: AppleIntelFramebufferCapri Replace: 050300000200000030000000
  8. @JmW Leave the value no as is. Change the layout-id under Devices/Properties/PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1f,0x03)
  9. The drive ( Samsung PM981 ) is known to be incompatible with MacOS. Replace with something else.
  10. The SSDT is for the same CPU as yours, so it should be fine.
  11. Yes, for power management specific to your CPU.
  12. Give this a try, add the SSDT-xxx to patched and replace the Config file N3421.zip
  13. try this boot arg -wegnoegpu @MrJonesIII A few posts back you mentioned replacing ACPI and Kexts folder, did you replace the Config file as well?
  14. Dell Dude had the same issue as reported here (Mach Reboot). He mentioned that adding nv_disable=1 to boot arg might help You should be able to select that during boot by pressing the spacebar You could also try with boot arg -igfxvesa
  15. DW1510 works just fine, just no Bluetooth. You'll need to restore 2 kexts from Mojave if you're running Catalina as it's no longer supported. Your audio setup is correct, just move CodecCommander from Clover kexts to /L/E if you haven't already. Then repair permissions and rebuild cache.
  16. In BIOS, make sure to disable the following too Wake from USB/WLAN/WWAN/ Make sure to also disable Hibernation. sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 sudo rm -f /var/vm/sleepimage sudo pmset hibernatefile /dev/null
  17. file version is still not the same as the one you attached are you booting from a different source than the one you attached?
  18. Post your Clover folder to confirm if everything is set up correctly
  19. You're following an old thread. Remove brcmfx-driver=1 and add to properties pci-aspm-default = 0 See here for more details. https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/11322-broadcom-bcm4350-cards-under-high-sierramojavecatalina/?do=findComment&comment=89830
