  1. They are 2 different class of processor. E5470 is Skylake with HD 520 (newer than E7450) E7450 is Broadwell with HD 5500 All is supported for E7450 (besides wifi - usually comes with Intel which is not supported) E5470 - same as E7450 but SD Card is not supported, finger scanner, wifi if it's intel.
  2. try this, replace Config file and add the SSDT* to clover patched folder 5480_Kormoran.zip
  3. @oli121 It's 2 posts up. All you need to do is install Clover loader and then replace the Clover folder with the one above.
  4. Shouldn't need applebacklightfixup.kext with latest Whatevergreen, it's probably the addition of SSDT-PNLFCFL.aml fixed the issue. Also not a good idea to turn all USB ports as internal. Sleep issue could be due to USB _pwr. Try patching your DSDT with this
  5. Replace DSDT with this one DSDT.aml.zip
  6. I probably should add a note in the guide regarding Alps v7/8 support. Currently there is NO Alps kext that would run smoothly on E7270/ E7470, that's why I have ApplePS2Controller.kext in my bootpacks for models with Alps touchpad above v5. Although it doesn't detect it in Trackpad preferences it'll work perfectly smooth. 2 fingers scrolling works(only up and down, not sideway), 2 fingers right click, drag and drop. There is a slight issue with CAPS lock, you'll need to tab twice to lock and twice to unlock. As for VoodooPS2ControllerR6Bronxteck.kext, although it fixes the CAPS lock issue, I find it harder to use. It's not as smooth, perhaps I could adjust the ZFinger value for better support but I have not bother to since it disables the Trackstick on the E7470 and E7450 which I prefer over Trackpad. With the additional 3rd party software like SmartScroll.app, I was able to scroll smoothly up and down, side to side with ApplePS2Controller.kext. I guess it's up to your preference since E7270 does not have the Trackstick.
  7. Brightness Control key has been implemented in my Catalina bootpack with hot patches https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/6472-dell-latitude-e7240e7440/?do=findComment&comment=86943 Although slightly different value, the Fn+Arrow Up and down works with VoodooPS2Controller.
  8. If you're going to use BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext, it needs to be in /L/E. If you want it in clover kext, you'll need BrcmFirmwareData.kext instead. FYI BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext or BrcmFirmwareData.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext are for Bluetooth firmware, not Wifi.
  9. Try this, REPLACE contents into /EFI/Clover 5480_HD620.zip
  10. The config file was corrupted due to improper editing... Here is the fixed file, rename it to Config.plist config-fixed.plist.zip
  11. For Catalina, you'll need additional commands for the new protection SEE FAQ
  12. Just changed the boot arg for battery delay time from abm_firstpolldelay=8000 to abm_firstpolldelay=16000 and remove the SSDT CpuPm and Cpu0Ist as Herve advised.
  13. Update Lilu, whatevergreen, appleALC and AirportBrcmFixup to the latest https://github.com/vit9696/Lilu/releases https://github.com/vit9696/Lilu/blob/master/KnownPlugins.md
  14. With Haswell, you can run the latest Catalina. You can try using my E7440 Catalina Haswell bootpack as reference. You'll probably run into issue with USB ports but that could be sorted out later.
  15. Made a couple of changes, try this config config.plist.zip
  16. Please post the full specs of the system. From what I research it has a Haswell CPU and not IvyBridge.
  17. What I was suggesting was to try AptioMemoryFix.efi instead.
  18. Try disabling the "Prevent ADGP from loading" and maybe "eDP port ...." patch from my Config file, one at a time
  19. I have not switch to OCQuirks.efi and still using AptioMemoryFix. But from what I had read you need OpenRuntime.efi, and OcQuirks.plist to the Clover drivers folder. Make sure you don't have AptioMemoryFix or other related in the same folder.
  20. Try this, replace config and add ssd* to /E/C/A/Patched BatteryStat.zip
  21. No, touchpad is PS2, not USB related. You probably just need to repair permissions and rebuild cache.
  22. AppleBacklightInjector.kext is integrated in Whatever green so it's not needed anymore FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext is not needed either with Whatevergreen Main issue is AppleHDA_ALC292.kext, you already have AppleALC.kext in Clover kext. It's just interfering with the kext.
  23. Here, replace into /EFI/Clover 7280_HD520_Catalina.zip
