Optiplex 7020 Catalina weird intermittent freezes and beachballs
Jake Lo replied to Semaj's topic in The Archive
From what I had read, the freeze occur with unused connector(s) on an Haswell I3 CPU. This issue doesn't occur on higher CPU like i5 or i7. Determine the ports that you don't need and disable it. -

Jake Lo replied to Iwnsme999's topic in The Archive
Use this one https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/11145-help-inspiron-3558-support-hackintosh/?do=findComment&comment=98850 and add or move ApfsDriverLoader.efi from drivers/UEFI to the root of /EFI Read the whole thread, not just the 1st page -
[Solved] Dell Precision 5510 error could not allocate runtime area
Jake Lo replied to rakibulmuhajir's topic in The Archive
The framebuffer values from the bootpack works just fine. There might be some issue with your installation files due to using VM. Since you now have a semi working system, you can re-create your installer from there rather than VM. Keep the same EFI files. After creating the new installer, format and reinstall your system. -
DELL 15 3558 HACKINTOSH BOOT USB BLACK SCREEN???
Jake Lo replied to Iwnsme999's topic in The Archive
Follow this thread, they seems to have the same issue and had solved it by adding or moving ApfsDriverLoader.efi from drivers/UEFI to the root of /EFI -
You'll need to upgrade to v5107 so use the CloverHackyColor version. It lacks the HFSPlus.efi, but you can continue using the version you have currently. Don't forget to update Lilu.kext, whatevergreen.kext and AppleALC.kext prior.

[Solved] Inspiron 3558: help installing Mojave
Jake Lo replied to Watermelon Jello's topic in The Archive
What kexts did you add? It's not showing in your Clover kexts/Other folder Add these kexts For Wifi , add to Clover kext : AirportBrcmFixup.kext For BT, add to /L/E: BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext BrcmPatchRAM3.kext Don't forget to repair permissions and rebuild cache -
Not exactly accurate. I have my BT firmware kext in /L/E running on 10.15.4. BT kexts are loading just fine. You might just need to repair permissions and rebuild cache after the update.

No need to quote as Herve stated, just type under " Reply to this topic"... So to add the boot arg, there's a few ways. One is add it to the Config file under Boot Arguments, use Clover Configurator to edit the Config.plist 2nd way is to boot to Clover, press O to get to Options or use the arrow key. Once there, add the above arg to the command line -

Hmm, that means you're booting with the default Clover config because the corrupted Config was not in use.
