  1. did you set the DVMT to the required 96MB? when you enable inject Intel, did you set the ig-platform-id to 0x191b0000? Do you have nv_disable=1 to disable the nvidia card, set BIOS to enable switchable graphics?
  2. no, that looks right. much easier if you just change the DVMT and never have to patch the FB ever on updates. I have no issue on my Latitude and Precision
  3. that's your choice. make sure to use the correct one for Sierra Comment: Broadwell minStolenSize patch (credit RehabMan based on original by Austere.J) Name: AppleIntelBDWGraphicsFramebuffer MatchOS: 10.12.x Find: Replace:
  4. SSDT?? You don't have one in the clover folder you attached. System don't need one to boot.
  5. Set DVMT as per the guide under prerequisite. Don't remove the ig-platform-id or change it. All should work once you have the DVMT set
  6. Those files are old, use the Sierra pack I posted above. Your KP could be due to not having DVMT set to 96MB. By removing the ig-platform-id, you prevented graphics from loading. You can remove nv_disable if you like, it won't cause any issue with it on.
  7. Did you use the Sierra files from here?
  8. If you mean you checked it in Windows, it's not indicative of what's actually set in the BIOS. You need to check the BIOS to be sure. NO, don't use my files, use the files you currently have on your system as I posted above. Config.plist Kexts folder Driverx64UEFI
  9. Go ahead and select Load default in the BIOS. Apply it. Then go back and change SATA Operations to AHCI, enable Legacy ROM Option, and UEFI.
  10. run in terminal sudo dmesg | grep reason See what the output say
  11. You'll need the EFI Shell boot disk. Run setup_var 0x15b to see what value it outputs, same for 0x15c. If they are not 0x3, then change them. In my experience while updating BIOS, the settings stick, but I read a member here said it somehow changed due to Windows update and not a bios update. So it's better to be sure and check it.
  12. Rebuild your USB boot disk keeping the files in your Clover folder. See here for manual process Config.plist Kexts Driverx64UEFI
  13. I'm seeing 2 issues. 1) The voodoops2Controller is causing your KP, are you using the files that is in the link? 2) Your SMBIOS shows MBP8,3, it needs to be at MBP8,2. Are you using the file that is in the link?
  14. Your graphics is causing the KP. Make sure DVMT has not been reset due to whatever reason. Check offset 0x15b and 0x15c are still set to 0x3
  15. What version of BIOS is your system? Try going into Options when you see the Clover loader, use the right arrow to navigate Select ACPI patching-> Tables Dropping-> Go all the way down and deselect Drop all OEM SSDT Check all the Drop "SSDT-xx" below that Select Return Change DSDT name: BIOS.aml Select Return, Return Hit spacebar to select Verbose mode What the above does is to not use the patched DSDT/SSDT if it's a BIOS dependent issue. If it boots with that setting, then we could try exporting new raw file and I'll repatch them for you.
  16. Reboot to Clover GUI. Hit F4. Compress and attach the Clover folder here, use the 'More Reply Options'.
  17. 1/ Wifi can not working. As Bronxteck said, Intel is not supported, replace it with a DW1560 2/ Headphone has garbled/distorted. What codec does it have? What are you using for audio? Patched kexts or VoodooHDA? 3/ Keyboard Backlight auto turn-off when I hae not press any key (seems after 5-6 seconds - timeout). That's normal to save battery. It'll come back on once a key is touched
  18. With Skylake system you need to set DVMT to 96MB. Does your BIOS have the option to change? Please also list the full system specs.
