Jake Lo replied to NTHT1MD's topic in The Archive
Try this to see if it'll run in Mojave before upgrading to Big Sur Replace the whole EFI folder in the EFI partition or create and USB boot disk with this EFI folder (rename the attached folder to EFI) Note: If you have the Intel Wifi /BT computer, replace Config with Config-IntelWifi 7370_OC_063.zip -
disable AppleDebug, ApplePanic, DisableWatch Dog to mount EFI, I use an app call ESP Mounter Pro.app

Optiplex 5040 - Intel HD530 graphics: can't get DisplayPort output
Jake Lo replied to mefflecakes's topic in The Archive
This is what I have on my 7040 with HD530. DP ports works perfectly with 1440p, don't have 4k to test. Keep an untouched bootable USB handy if these change won't work for you. -
[Solved] E7470 - Opencore having issue booting, DSDT issue?
Jake Lo replied to Crumbling's topic in The Archive
You can just disable one of the VoodooInput.kext in the Config file. It's causing config. Disable v1.0.7, you can check which plugin in VoodooI2C or VoodooPS2Controller has the newer version. -

Lenovo T490 - OpenCore !Warning! Warning! Warning! Follow guide at your own risk, neither I nor OSXL will take responsibility if the process bricked your system. When I first build this system with OpenCore, after selecting Reset NVRam it bricked my system. It'll never boot to POST again. I had tried draining the battery, taking out the CMOS battery, taking out the internal battery and let system sit for days, all in vain. Luckily the system was still under warranty so I was able to get the system board replaced. I had since rebuild the system but never to use Reset NVRam on this system again. I can't remember what version of BIOS it had at the time nor which version of OpenCore. I also have a T480 and don't have this issue with Reset NVRam, so it could be a BIOS issue. Others have reported similar issue here for Lenovo systems. Dortania recommend resetting NVRAM by updating the BIOS on machines with these issue instead. I've uploaded new bootpack here See if that helps. I've read a few users had this issue and so far no solution found. My thought is bad NVRam, try clearing it

Remove SSDT-PM.aml since it's for i7-3540M or if you have generated your own SSDT for your CPU, rename it to SSDT-PM.aml

Catalina or Mojave? 10.14.6 is Mojave If Catalina, support stopped for DW1510 @ Mojave. See here Basically you'll need to restore the wifi kext from Mojave included in that link
-
try Fn+s and Fn+b for brightness control Yes, you can remove the layout-id from device properties and add it to boot arg instead. Test each one and see which works best.
-
what wi-fi device does it have? did you select 'Reset NVRAM' at OC picker after the changes?
-
Have you tried layout-id 3, 13, and / or 15 for audio? Have you tried rebooting manually and see if there's a new boot option? You can download a full app from your 7400 and create an USB installer. Boot from your current EFI and select the Installer from the picker
