  1. Your Clover config and patched ACPI tables are Ok, but your kexts folder is a mess. You've mixed AppleALC with patched AppleHDA (it's either/or), installed multiple PS2 controller kexts, multiple LAN kexts, multiple audio fix kexts, etc. Give patched AppleHDA a try since the binary patch is already configured in your Clover config. This requires: 1) vanilla AppleHDA in /S/L/E 2) dummy IDT92HD90 kext Then, remove: AppleALC kext EAPDFix kext and make sure you use the latest CodecCommander kext Other things to do: LAN: only use AppleIntelE1000 or IntelMausiEthernet, not both. Either will do fine for the Intel 82579LM LAN card. PS2 controller: keep R6 and delete the other. Delete your PostInstall folder, forget about that. Ignore the Copy_to_LE folder for the time being. Unless you have an add-on USB3.0 ExpressCard (in the EC slot), you can delete the GenericUSBXHCI kext; the E6220 has no USB3 controller/ports. NB: Green -or other colour- dots are just labels you apply on files to visually distinguish them.
  2. The message about "appleinternal/Library/Extensions" can be ignored.
  3. Arf! E6850 is Conroe generation and does not meet the SSE4 requirements for macOS. Unless you upgrade for a Wolfdale model (eg: E8x00), your Optiplex 755 is limited to El Capitan. You need to do a bit of homework to catch up and I suggest you start here...
  4. Yes, some ACPI patches may need to differ between El Capitan and later versions. Please post your system's specs and a zipped copy of your Clover EFI folder.
  5. As usual, please post your specs. There are 4 x different sorts of Optiplex 755: MT, DT, SFF and USFF. All Optiplex 755 are built around Intel Q35 chipset. USFF does not support add-on/PCIe x16 graphics cards and cannot be used as a Hackintosh since there is no support for integrated GMA 3100. https://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/opti_755_techspecs.pdf In the same respect, there are 4 x different sorts of Optiplex 780: MT, DT, SFF and USFF. All Optiplex 780 are built around Intel Q45 chipset. Again, the USFF model doe into support add-on/PCIe x16 graphics cards and cannot be used as a Hackintosh since there is no support for integrated GMA 4500. https://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/optiplex_780_tech_guidebook_en.pdf Even though the 2 x families bear similarities, the hardware specs differ between the 2 x generations. This means that kexts and (especially) patched ACPI tables for the 780 may not/do not apply to the 755.
  6. Quite typical on (Dell?) Haswell laptops. My E6440 does the same. There is no fix that I know of...
  7. You cannot install High Sierra with Chameleon/Enoch; you have to switch to Clover. Please follow the guide Jake pointed you to.
  8. You'll find details of the patch in the R&D-> Card Readers section. You are' also allowed to use the Search facility offered on the forum... Night Shift is subject to unlocking patch or appropriate SMBIOS selection. You can Google for it.
  9. Stange, eh? You have a NIC connected to a USB3 hub and it shows in IOReg. Hmm... Re: Windows, ever heard of Device Manager?
  10. https://plugable.com/2013/01/29/via-usb-3-0-hub-firmware/ 0x2109:0x0812 would appear to be a USB3.0 hub...
  11. It's best to stick to High Sierra until you're more familiar with building a Hackintosh; you'd be struggling to update Mojave on your unsupported HD3000 platform for the moment since you'll have to apply special tricks.
  12. Check your hibernation status and, if necessary/desired, adjust your settings according to the detaisl posted in FAQ section.
  13. BrcmPatchRAM2.kext is for Bluetooth, not Wifi. The wireless part will work with or without patching, depending on the model you run with.
  14. I meant this. The suggested Clover patch should do the same. I recommend you use Clover Configurator app rather than text editing your config.
  15. No, that's the AICPUPM patch for Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge laptops; useless for anything else. OP would be well advised to tune his configuration with Clover Configurator app rather than a text editor...
  16. eC//FrEaK is mistaken on the BIOS matter. Leave it as it is. If you update, you're highly likely to end up with garbled graphics, like other E6x30 models, unless/until you re-patch the raw DSDT of the latest BIOS version like I did for the E6230 (A19).
  17. In order to sustain any further High Sierra update, place those kexts in /L/E, increase their version number to something like 999, repair permissions and rebuild your cache. /S/L/E then remains full vanilla and those kexts with higher version number take precedence at startup/in the cache.
  18. Set Integrated NIC to enable only (no need for PXSE, you're not going to boot over Ethernet) Disable VT for Direct I/O (or use dart=0 in your Clover config).s No support for Intel wireless so that'll have to be replaced by a supported model or a USB adapter.
  19. If memory serves me right, that results from a cache issue; non-existant in all likelyhood. Make sure you've not forgotten to copy the Extra folder at the top of your USB Installer and boot with without cache with boot parameters/boot flags KernelBooter_kexts=Yes -f -v. You can manually specify those at the Chameleon/Enoch prompt after pressing a key at the delay bar or F8 at the rotating character in top left corner.
  20. Do you have the HPET fix in place?
  21. Yup, those latest R4/R5/R6 versions of the kext as found in Dr Hurt's dedicated thread bring out full support (so to speak) for the TouchPad.
  22. @New2Max, Your Clover setup was incorrect: You were injected irrelevant kexts (SATA-unsupported, RealtekRTL8111) You were injected ATI + nVIDIA graphics and irrelevant ATI + nVidia properties You were applying irrelevant LAPIC + KernelPm patches Your MBP9,2 SMBIOS injection seems incorrect/incomplete (I guess it might have come from an older Clover version) You probably did not have suitable CPU power management in place All in all, you probably obtained that Clover config from somewhere else than here... With regards to Semaj's Clover setup, he's injecting some unnecessary kexts like: VoodooTSCSync GenericUSBXHCI AppleBacklightFixup He's also using slightly outdated Lilu + WEG kexts that should be refreshed to latest versions. Then, his Clover config contains some irrelevant or inappropriate settings such as arch=x86_64, KernelPm patch or injection of Intel graphics + Capri layout-id (not necessary with Lilu + WEG), erroneous CPU PM settings, etc. It would benefit from being clean-up. Eg: E6330_config.plist.zip The Clover setup would also gain from being completed with kexts such as CodecCommander (for audio jack output) and FakePCIID/FakePCIID_XHCIMux to activate USB3/USB2 ports multiplexing.
  23. You simply set it up in your PrefPane.
