I don't think so, no... Since you're having this issue booting your installer, I'd say Chameleon is not installed properly on your USB key. Try to manually add it with myHack (or a Chameleon package). Did you partition & format your USB key GUID?

Then reboot straight with the flag and option I just specified. You enter those after pressing a key when you see the Chameleon delay bar.

Can you see the card when you do lspci -nn Terminal command? Assuming you do, reboot with flag -f and option GraphicsEnabler=Yes, then re-run myFix (quick) to rebuild your kext cache.

In the BIOS, set the video/init Display 1st to PCIex(press). Use the pinned Vostro 200 BIOS thread as a reference.

You gotta do a search on the forum on "boot:0" or "4K" boot sector to find the fix to that issue.

Try the attached. Note that it contains the patched Broadcom kext for DW1395/DW1397 wireless card + the patched CSR Bluetooth kext to support manual activation/deactivation of DW350/DW360 BT modules through Finder bar BT icon. These 2 kexts should be deleted if not applicable to you. Otherwise, please note that the pack contains: - patched DSDT (you may need to edit it to reflect your own wireless card: look in System Report -> PCI cards) - tuned FakeSMC + Cham boot plist + SMBIOS plist - newer BCM5722D LAN kext to fix the well-known heavy traffic seizure M4300_Extra.zip PS: a DSDT table placed in / or /Extra under filename "dsdt.aml" or "DSDT.aml" does not need to be specified in the Chameleon boot plist. There's no bug in EDP on that matter... Oh, and make sure to stick to BIOS A15!

You can use VoodooHDA v2.7.x or v2.8.x + AppleHDADisabler kexts or the patched STAC pack. These are available through EDP. Otherwise, add the attached kexts to /E/E then run myFix (quick). VoodooHDA.zip

Can you please post the output of a lspci -nn Terminal command and specify which CPU you have? There might still be some issues with EDP, so I'll try to give you a dedicated /Extra folder.

You simply need to re-run myHack and select the "Create Extra" option in the menu. It's no longer automatic since v3.3.1 (possibly since 3.2), but Conti will probably re-instate it back in the next release.

Well, in Lion you can do "detect monitors". Is this a myHack/OSXL Lion installation?

The bootpack should be installed with myHack so that you run myFix to fully install the pack. If you follow our guide (available in EDP pages above), you'll have no trouble at all.

Well, try a different battery manager as suggested.

Then, just make sure to use a myHack USB installer with our Mavericks boot pack. If you have an Intel wireless card, disable it in the BIOS or, better, remove it as it'll have to be replaced anyway. Remember to set your BIOS according to the recommended settings provided in the pinned thread of this very forum section. Do all this and you won't have any issue at all.

Ok, so try to put back the 2 X3100 kext back in /E/E from Removed Extensions, then re-run myFix (full).

Ok, this is very close to a D630 with Intel GMAX3100 graphics, there are very little differences. What's the max. resolution of your LCD screen? Try the attached Extra I modified for you (you probably won't have audio but that'll follow) and let us know how it goes. Modified Extra ThinkPad.zip You need to disable/remove that Intel wireless n card; it's not supported and needs to be replaced by a supported model.

BCM4360 is mini PCIe, not NGFF/M.2 format (yet?). I don't know if any NFGG/M.2 card exists that is supported under OS X.

Woaw, that's quite a mess you got there! It's going to need some rework of kexts and plists. I don't even think you have graphics acceleration for the integrated X3100 graphics at the moment. Do you have a translucent Finder bar at the top of the screen? Let's start at the beginning: open up a Terminal window and list your specs with lspci -nn command. Then posts us the results. We're gonna get down to the bare minimum and add kexts one by one to support the missing features afterwards. Then, we'll also look at the Chameleon version since your CPU is not even reported properly...

For your info, extracting the DSDT from OS X with Cham wizard to subsequently use it "as is" after placing the extracted .aml file in /Extra makes absolutely no difference at all: it's exactly the same as the table available in BIOS. DSDT files are only useful if patched. -
Mm, things are a bit messy with kexts in /E/E and in /S/L/E... Since you appear to use a myHack installation, you should place all of your added kexts to /E/E then run myFix (quick). As such move your Voodoo kexts out of /S/L/E and place them in /E/E. Who knows? maybe you have something conflicting within myHack.kext plugins... I see you also have a Chameleon boot plist in /E/E; its normal place is /E.

You need to identify your bluetooth adapter and give us the details. You may require to patch vanilla kexts, you may require a dedicated kext or your module might not be supported at all.

nVidia GPU always runs hot in that machine, OS X making much heavier use of graphics acceleration than Windows. What changes does your above SSDT bring ? Better CPU power management, which OS X clearly handles less favourably than Windows?

No matter the OS, gaming on Latitude D Series with X3100 graphics... basic games maybe. MLPF would not make games any worse off than they would be under Lion on that laptop since it's totally reversing ML to Lion 10.7.5 graphics handling.
