  4. yes it could be a corrupted installer. but if chameleon boots type in the flags i posted
  5. have you tried naming the kernel during chameleon boot? type in mach_kernel -v add any other flags your using. maybe there is a volume path entry in org.chameleon.Boot.plist for the kernel that does not exist on your machine.
  6. Mach-0 has bad magic number error could be a corrupted installer or kernel. usually happens with torrents or virtual clients.
  7. it could be that the first time it boots it is without kernel cache by the second time it has built one and booting from it. try booting with out cache option. -f
  8. did you install the mod kernel on your new install you would have to replace mach_kernel also if the modded kernel has a different name rename it to mach_kernel if not the cache's will not get built properly.
  9. hah... so hardware failure. that's interesting. could be bent pins on the cpu socket if the cpu is replaceable if not maybe bad solder.
  10. please read this guide... makes no sense for you to go any further if you do not understand what you need to do. http://myhack.sojugarden.com/guide/
  11. idk from searches it looks to be a normal d630 but the findings where a bit vague. is there any way you can install a newer version of snow leopard? the boot packs over time have been upgraded to conform to newer installers. maybe that's where the problem lies? or you can start with whats working like the generic boot pack and slowly integrate the boot pack files till you find whats causing the issue and report back.
  12. exactly which version of D630 is it? there are like 4 or 5 versions. there are XFR, ATG, D630C besides the nvidia and GMA models.
  13. can you try the one for nvidia to see if there is a difference.
  14. according to this blog http://blog.stuffedcow.net/2012/07/intel-hd4000-qeci-acceleration/ there are 4 choices for 64 mb ram. IntelCapriFB= 2,3,8 & 9 it correlates to the last number except for a & b chameleon calls a=10 b=11
  15. hopefully 10.9.2 will solve your issues. it looks like it will be released soon.
  16. try the kexts i attached in the post. they go in Extra/Extensions folder. do a my fix after.
  17. if using mgr patch and need it fine another patch the one in myhack needs Xcode installed first to work correctly. if not use guid instead.
  18. i vaguely remember some one mentioning that the amount of ram affects the graphics and causes issues like yours. how much ram do you have?
  19. it looks to be an issue with your frame buffer. is it possible to change the amount of ram dedicated to video in your bios?
  20. like i mentioned above you probably have DualLink activated in DSDT or in your org.chameleon Boot.plist.
  21. you browse to your Extra folder where the smbios should be for reference and type in the path. then have it save the location path.
