in bios see if you have the sata option of ahci
-
try adding npci=0x2000 at boot and if you have vt-d enabled in bios shut it off and ahci enabled for sata. also what machine and hardware are we dealing with. spec wise.
-
you need to probably modify AGPUPM kext for your graphics card editing the entry in the plist for the SMBIOS your spoofing.
-
boot with -v for more info and check your bios and see if you can turn off the Nvidia GT72M graphics. if not you need to do it in dsdt.
-
you need to boot with -v to further diagnose the issue. adding -x might also help.
-
have you tried the different trackpad kexts they have been developing lately on the forum for the E series?
-
you probably need find my mac enabled but it is a bit involved on a hack. also requires a recovery partition. google for it.
-
did it show some one else's info for login but only password is available to enter? if so delete any osx installers you downloaded from the internet that you did not download using your own id. osx spotlights the whole drive so it can not be on the machine at all not even in the trash or separate volume.
-
you probably need to use an smbios from a 10.8.x compatible machine. look at apples osx compatibility page.
-
you would have to edit the kext then. replace the keyboard kext inside the plugins folder with the one thats working for you.
-
it has to do with the acpi kext in e/e you need to use the one provided with 10.9.2 if your on that version of osx.
-
that kernel is for 10.9 not 10.8.5 there is a patch for 10.8.5 here you have to apply it to the original kernel using terminal app
-
according to what i found http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01399512&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3686719 it looks like it should work. the wifi is intel though so it won't work on osx you would have to replace it but HP is notorious for whitelisting the wifi cards meaning it has to be hp and known to work on that machine or you need a modded bios with white listing removed then you can use any brand wifi. if during install you get a lapic error then you need a patch for the kernel. the the boot flag cpus=1 can be a temporary fix to get you through install. do some research to see if others have an issue with that on that model.

ASUS N73SV; freeze after verbose, multiple things not working with EDP
Bronxteck replied to NielsjeNL's topic in The Archive
post a picture if you can of the error. boot with -v flag. -
you have to add F0Ac to fakesmc and get the data from a real mac SMC dump from the model you are emulating.
-
sounds like a cmos reset are you using the Patched_10.7_AppleRTC supplied by the generic myhack extra?
-
oh the seller is uniwifi. mention osxlatitude and see if he gives you a bit of a discount.
-
yes that is what the -x flag is for. that should allow you to now troubleshoot what your issue is.
-
there used to be a thread here on i8kfan control and some diagnostic mode with a key combination during booting for fan control. flux is necessary when soldering it cleans the solder and promotes better solder adhesion. to put it simple.

delete your network devices in networking prefpane. apply changes then add them back. apply changes again. -

-
