  9. you might need to remove or add the bootpack acpi kext from e/e and run a myfix quick depends on whats there now. if there remove it if not there add it.
  10. edp will only run on a local drive. current booted one. my hack though should work on another volume.
  11. does it have vt-d in bios? if so shut it off or boot with dart=0 flag.

  15. they do but you have to boot lion using the boot flag arch=i386. but if you have some kexts that are not a "Fat" binary meaning both 32 and 64 bit then those might not load and give you other issues. lion is the last mac os to still boot in 32 bit mode.
  16. no. run myfix only if you are adding or removing kexts.
  17. try adding the boot flag dart=0
  18. use the more reply option next to the post button
  19. search the forums here. you can try https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/5745-mavericks-on-e5420-graphics-woes/&do=findComment&comment=30209
  20. try voodoohda 2.8.4 bottom of first post.
  21. try repairing your disk permissions with disk utility. wrong file permissions cause strange things to happen.
  22. bios is setting it to 1 if it is enabled there. so to boot osx you want it to be 0 or disabled. it disables it from osx kernel with the flag. you asked for a way to be able to keep it on so you did not have to mess with the bios option. well that is where this flag comes in.
  23. yes your graphics are not loading. you need to try some combinations of graphics flags. read the help file in chameleon at boot. try with GraphicsEnabler=no or other combinations.
