  1. try fixing permissions first with disk utility then rebuild your caches might help with your glitches....
  2. yes you can still use edp to disable hibernation. and yes i believe you still need the password. but i don't know if your video will interfear. if it does then try with the sleep enabler from above. like what features?
  3. well on the 950 gma models it works native with the system password. some times you need the edp sleep fix option too.
  4. BT 360 works OTB with lion and very well i might add. much better than 350 too many timeouts in kernel log
  5. have you tried super duper, carbon copy cloner or diskutility? also did you try the latest clonezilla?
  6. sometimes they have to be activated in windows by installing the latest firmware for them to then work on vista or seven not xp.
  7. no real benefits to 10.6.8 actually but it can update to 10.6.8 it might break wifi. and if your using sleep enabler it might keep you from booting with a kp because of the 10.6.8 kernel. unless you have sleepenabler one that's 10.6.8 compatible. that's if your even using sleepenabler... lol hope it made sense
  8. on a cold boot you will have to input a password but there is an option to bypass password on wake,,, there is also an option to bypass wake and reboot but it does not work. it will actually take longer for the bios to get to the logon screen in selected. as far as closing the lid. i don't think osx has that feature in energy saver pref like windows does in power plan setup. the wifi light do not turn on in 10.6 like they did in 10.5 but bluetooth should light up if it's active and installed .
  9. make sure in the bios settings you have wake from usb off. then run in edp, fixes, sleepfix
  10. did you try booting with -v -x?
  11. i don't think its a size problem... it could be chameleon... the image might have com.apple.boot.plist but newer chame revs. now use org.chameleon.Boot.plist in Extra folder check what bootloader rev your using.
  12. i have a dell 350 and a dell 360 the dell 350 gives me alot of errors in kernel log and the 360 does not. the only thing i have tested on the 360 was a friends magic trackpad and it worked very well gestures and all. and on the 350 i have only tested a pair of BT headphones but it would keep losing sync. have not tried them on the 360 module yet though.
  13. place in extra/extensions folder and run edptool.command then build and use existing config option a.
  14. on the anv-slice option 4 you can use the osx stock trackpad prefpane to adjust but even at it's slowest setting it's like it needs 3 clicks slower to perfect. and it's not 2 finger scrolling but 1 finger scrolling anywhere on the trackpad not just the right side like other options.
  15. the d620...it runs decent... but graphics could be a touch faster. have you tried sleep fix option in edp? it got sleep working on my d430.
  16. i beleive so. have you tried pciroot=1 and or npci=0x02000 you can download a newer sleep enabler from here http://code.google.com/p/xnu-sleep-enabler/downloads/detail?name=SleepEnabler.kext.10.7.x.zip
  17. i use option 4 andy-slice but some feel it's too fast... i got used to it.
  18. it should work fine... look into your bios settings. or make sure the drive works.
  19. have you shut off com ports, printer port, modem, floppy controller if you have em in bios? seems like your irq for usb gets reset and allocated to something else.
