boot to MacOS, repair permissions and rebuild cache. Then reboot with that boot arg. It's stated in Hervé's guide that mouse button does not work...so there's no other update for it thus far. Not working: Touchpad buttons TrackPoint -

error occur before the list of kexts on the second screen, try taking a video and slow down to see before the KP Make sure to set BIOS settings according to Herve's recommendation for 7490 -
I did the count and skip from DSDT found from another 7400 since you didn't include it here, so perhaps your vanilla DSDT is different. So with your correct Config and with latest VoodooI2C, will the system boot? If yes, have you tried sleeping / waking the system to see if it'll work. Another user had this issue with OC as well and sleeping the system seems to work.

Give this a try config-gemini.plist.zip

did you switch out the 2 kexts mentioned above?

So you use the DP to DP from your HP monitor? And DVI to HDMI to your home display? I only see 1 DP and 1 HDMI output on the 3070

Problem when entering MacOS Catalina 10.15.4 installation
Jake Lo replied to am303737's topic in The Archive
Yes, but you have to have 2 things: EFI partition = 200MB or more (windows default is 128MB, verify it, expand if necessary) Must have GUID formatted drive (Windows might be formatted to MBR - you'll need to convert it) I won't be able to help you with any of the 2 requirements, you'll have to figure that out yourself with google or whatever way you know You can try cloning Windows to another drive, format your disk to the requirements above, create 2 partitions and then restore Windows to the second partition and install MacOS to the 1st. -

@Gemini44 What are the display resolutions at home? (both HDMI?) What is the display resolution at work? (DP?)

Can you block VoodooI2C during boot like Clover? Do you have older version install to /L/E or /S/L/E? If you can block the kext and able to boot with my Config, check or attach System DSDT to see if the patch applied correctly Sorry I'm not too familiar with OC. Have not dive into it yet.
-
I made no other changes other than the count and skip so it must be loading the kexts now. Try updating VoodooI2C + VoodooI2CHID to latest version 2.4.2

I've read that the wireless antenna does not fit snuggly and might require a cover to hold it in place. Strangely, both wifi devices you mentioned, I only see 2 antennas, not 3.
-
@MatiWaldi You could try count and skip for the touchpad Here, try this config. Post System DSDT file. Just launch MacIASL.app, save, compress and attach it for confirmation if the patch added is correct. config.plist.zip

you copied the find and replace but not the rest, especially the MatchOS. You have it match 10.14.x, need to be 10.15.x -
