  2. What kext are you using? The Alps kext VoodooPS2ControllerR6 does not support newer version very well, jittery as you noticed. Rehabman's VoodooPS2Controller is for Synaptics, does not support Alps either. The best kext I had use for this model is ApplePS2Controller.kext found in my bootpack. It does not show in touchpad preference but it works very well. With Smartscroll.app, you'll have full function with the track stick and scrolling with the middle button.
  3. Woh!!! How old is your Clover? v4674, latest is at v506x Delete the following folders in /EFI/Clover: drivers64 and drivers64UEFI Install this Clover with following settings Install for UEFI booting only Install Clover in the ESP UEFI Drivers\Recommended Drivers ApfsDriverLoader AptioMemoryFix AudioDxe DataHubDxe FSInject HFSPlus Additional drivers PartitionDxe Install Clover Preference Pane (Optional - only available on installed disk, not installer) Update Lilu.kext, Whatevergreen.kext, AppleALC.kext and AirportBrcmFixup.kext https://github.com/vit9696/Lilu/releases https://github.com/vit9696/Lilu/blob/master/KnownPlugins.md https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/
  4. try disabling just the bluetooth in the BIOS and see if that works. Looking at your USBPorts.kext, you have SS02 set as internal, yet in the IOReg file, nothing is attach there. Can you verify if that's set correctly?
  5. missing IOREG file, run this, save, compress and attach
  6. Now the Clover version shows installed is 4813. The drivers folder structure is old, not of the new structure of the Clover version I had linked, so that tells me you are not installing Clover to the correct EFI partition. Make sure to select "Change Install location" and select the correct drive where you have MacOS installed. Make sure to delete drivers and drivers64UEFI prior to installing Clover following the settings I had suggested in previous post.
  7. No detecting your installer...USB issue. Replace the contents inside /EFI/Clover with my files and also the SSDT to disable the Nvidia graphics https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/8514-dell-latitude-e7450-clover-uefi-only/?do=findComment&comment=86791 Make sure to update the kexts as well as stated in the link
  8. Just use Karabiner-Elements.app to set the Fn keys for Brightness control. See here for example
  9. Do you have UEFI enabled in the BIOS? If it shows 3811, that tells me you're booting from different source location.
  10. Clover is outdated, Config is missing a few patches. Try this, delete the following folders from /EFI/Clover drivers64 drivers64UEFI Download and install Clover from here with the following settings Install for UEFI booting only Install Clover in the ESP UEFIDrivers\Recommended Drivers ApfsDriverLoader AptioMemoryFix AudioDxe DataHubDxe FSInject HFSPlus SMCHelper Additional drivers PartitionDxe Themes (Optional) Install Clover Preference Pane (Optional ) Now replace Config file with the attached. config.plist.zip
  11. this should be bootpack#5 Only difference with #6 is losing the DW1820a patch and the DSDT.aml I think your issue might be something else. What NVMe is your drive? Samsung PM981 and Intel NVMe are problematic. Clover_Pack_7490#5_Herve.zip
  12. Try updating Lilu.kext and Whatevergreen.kext
  13. You can also inject it in Config file using Clover Configurator. You'll need to enable FixHPET, FixMutex and FixDarwin if you don't have these in your DSDT. Inject with layout ID = 13 or 11 if that doesn't work
  14. Remove folder /EFI/Clover/kexts/10.14 Looking at your IOReg file, it doesn't show Lilu nor Whatevergreen loaded. So Clover must be loading files from from 10.14 which is missing Lilu.kext that's needed with Whatevergreen. NVM, you're installing HS which is 10.13, but good idea to remove that folder anyway. With that said, you must be booting from different source than the Clover folder you have attached. Confirm there is no EFI folder on the root? Not having any previous info about the source of the installer, check if the following kexts exist in /S/L/E AppleIntelBDWGraphicsFramebuffer AppleIntelBDWGraphics AppleIntelHD5000Graphics AppleIntelHD5000GraphicsGLDriver.bundle AppleIntelHD5000GraphicsMTLDriver.bundle AppleIntelHD5000GraphicsVADriver.bundle
  15. FB needs to be cache before it could be patch-on-the-fly. So boot to Clover, go to Options and add to boot arg -igfxvesa Once you get to the desktop, you can repair permissions and rebuild cache. Then you should be able to boot normally. If you still can't boot with the above arg, then go to Options Go down to Graphics Injector and select it Select both FakeID and platform-id and change them to 0x12345678 Repair permissions and rebuild cache. Then you should be able to boot normally.
  16. Try changing SMBIOS from MBP13,3 to MBP13,1
  17. Since you didn't include any specs about the system, I'm assuming this is a Broadwell system with HD 5500. Intel wifi is not supported if it has that and will need to be replace with a supported card like DW1560. For Mojave, you'll have to install with APFS, there's no way around it. Only way to use HFS with Mojave is cloning a working system into an HFS+ formatted drive. You can follow my Clover guide and use the attached bootpack, files contents go into /EFI/Clover replacing the old after installing Clover. 3450_Mojave.zip
  18. What makes you think your system has I2C touchpad?
  19. try adding to boot arg for DP audio -igfxnohdmi For booting, try adding CsmVideoDxe.efi when installing Clover. Can't confirm it'll work though.
  20. You need to follow the post installation instructions. It stated you need to copy the kexts inside /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other/CopytoLE to /Library/Extensions Mainly, you CodecCommander.kext in /L/E to fix the static headphone noise. Repair permissions and rebuild cache
