Try layout-id 12 or 18 rather than 28, as 28 is for a Lenovo system. -
High Sierra installation is basically the same as Sierra but you'll need to create the installer with createinstallMedia command line. See here While using the same files from your Sierra, you should update Clover, kexts and hot patches as noted in the High Sierra guide.

Yes, install Clover to the HDD, copy the contents I linked previously to /EFI/Clover. Make sure you have HFSPlus.efi in /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI. You can get it from my generic EFI in my Clover guide or you could google for it Don't upgrade your USB EFI until you have it working on the HDD
-
Make sure to upgrade to latest Clover as well

For activity monitor issue, upgrade ACPIBatteryManager.kext For wireless, try adding Lilu.kext + AirportBrcmFixup.kext and/or fakePCIID.kext + FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext

Remove AppleBacklightInjector.kext from /S/L/E Repair permissions and rebuild cache. For touchpad, try removing VoodooPS2ControllerR6.kext and replace with this one or perhaps adjusting the Finger-Z value. See this thread Brightness control should work. Do you see the slider in display preference? Try Fn+F3 and Fn+Insert? SD Card reader working? Sleep / Wake working? For Siri, could be a microphone issue. Try changing the audio layout-id from 28 to 12 in the Config.plist file under Devices -

Here, patched files from your A21 BIOS Origin folder Replace contents into /EFI/Clover Copy kexts in /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other/CopyTo/L/E to /Library/Extensions Repair permissions and rebuild cache E5440_A21_Disable-Nvidia.zip -
What would work: HD 5500 graphics Any version of OS X 10.10.3 and above Audio - unknown since you didn't include full codec detail but could work with VoodooHDA Bluetooth??? depends on what it has Wifi -> might need to be replace with a supported card but might have whitelisting Not work: AMD Radeon - Optimus is not supported in OSX

You should upgrade to the latest BIOS. Clear /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin Boot to Clover, press F4. Continue to OSX Compress and attach the Clover folder -
Probably better if install to /Library/Extensions instead. So remove those and add BrcmPatchRAM2.kext and BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext (not BrcmFirmwareData.kext) to /L/E Repair permissions and rebuild cache

This is a desktop, no kext needed for keyboard/mouse. Remove it
