Could you try this Extra folder? Put it in your root, and delete the old Extra folder. Remove VoodooHDA.kext out of /System/Library/Extensions Move all the extensions of /Extra/Extensions to /S/L/E (because you use stupid unifail). Fix permissions. Extra (V3).zip

How about your BIOS settings? Could you set the bios to AHCI, Plug-Play OS to YES. I am working on a DSDT and new extra folder, but it is a pity..

Could you make a clean install with myHack (10.8.2) (http://myhack.sojugarden.com), that is the install method we recommend. When we are working on it, we will make a topic with progress information (for other people) and add it to EDP.

We changed our SVN server. If you download the new application from the site, it should work again .

chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) = Chameleon. chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) is just a crappy branch that made tonycrap out of Chameleon. Have a look here: http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chameleon/source/tree/80/trunk MyHack uses the trunk branch, merged with some own edits and other branches. chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) is just Chameleon with some more device ids, so tonycrap / MacMan could call it chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded), and let users think they made it... They suck.

Why arent you using EDP w/ myHack, instead of a distro?

I added the E6520 package to the EDP, but only for the HD3000 version. It would be nice to add the Intel / nVidia (optimus) version also to our EDP! So if someone could add me on Skype, we could have a look at it. My username is in my profile .

There are, but not every card is in it .. Just say the name, and we will tell you if it is supported.

When you install OS X with myHack, NEVER use Kext Wizard or Disk Utility to rebuild cache. To use the OS X Kernel Cache, that makes the system boot faster, you need to have all kexts in S/L/E. But Hackintoshers don't like that, it is way nicer to have everything inside Extra. Conti, the creator of myHack, designed some things to use Kernel Cache with the kexts inside your Extra folder. It will create a myHack.kext with all kexts inside it, so it will load inside /Extra. I don't know exactly what myfix does, but I can say it's better then Kext Wizard.

You can add me on Skype, you can find the info in my profile. We will have a look how to fix everything and get it inside EDP , so it will be helpful for all users! . Skype is for me easier, to help you better. I will post all results on the forum, for other users, so no problem .

Since Lion there is something called Kernel Cache instead of mkext. When you install a new kext, you need to regenerate that KernelCache When booting OS X, you shouldn't have a blue status bar. When you have that, you are probably booting in Safe Mode (-x). When you boot with -f or -x, you will skip the caches and booting will take more time! Are you also using: <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>Yes</string> inside your org.chameleon.Boot.plist! You will need it for Kernel Cache. You can add me on Skype, I will have a look at your files and see if we can add it to EDP . You can find my account name on my profile page.

Please boot with -v and post a picture of your screen.

Strange, could you have a look in your Extra folder? Is there the edptool.command? You can open it, to install EDP . Could you mail some details to [email protected], I will have a look! .

How did you install? The kernel panic says that you don't have the FakeSMC.kext!
