not only HP has the issue but it's worth a shot. you can call it lapic_kernel put it in the root of your drive then call it from the chameleon boot screen. lapic_kernel -v
not sure what you have or trying to accomplish buy myfix takes care of myhack kext for you. you should not have to manually edit that kext. having the kexts you need loaded in the extra extensions folder then running a myfix should resolve itself. now if you manually added them to s/l/e remove the ones in e/e or the ones in s/l/e if you prefer e/e then run myfix either way.
you need to find out what manufacturer makes your trackpad hardware and add the kext for it to clover. i do not use clover so i am not familiar with it's options. depending on what version of clover you are running there are different methods. also the documentation changes almost weekly so it's hard to keep track of. this is the reason i do not use it.
have you played with the audio midi setup in applications/ other folder maybe you have to aggregate a device for garageband? also check your sound preferences. on my dell i can hold the windows key and click on the speaker icon in the menu bar for input output selection. there is also an app called sound flower that helps with audio but i don't know if it is compatible with maverick.
no solution that I am aware of but now that you know what your issues are google to see if there is a solution. i do not have hardware with eDP to test on.
well you can always opt to add a video card. or replace the core with a ivy 3770. other then that the machine will run quite well on maverick. i never bothered to test ML.
that will work too. after you get and transfer the module delete the module chameleon wizard installed just in case your snow leo laptop does not like the module.
