  2. Hi I hope someone can help or point me in the right direction. Dell E7240 currently running HS but have run Mojave also. I can’t get the audio to work with the ALC292 and patched AppleHDA kexts always shows no output device. Found a guide which said to apply hot patches using clover configurator which I have done, each time I rebuild the Kext cache and can see the Kext being loaded, but still no audio, injected layout 12 which apparently it’s the supported for the codec. The voodooHDA Kext works but it screws up the mic a lot. hope someone has an idea what to try next I would up load files but for some reason I cant log in on a laptop as the account shows locked out, but I can only my phone.
  3. Hello there I am trying to get my Dell Laptop run with High Sierra. After countless fresh installs with different setups its working kind off. Because I got graphics acceleration with my Intel HD 4600 under 10.13.1 with no hassle, I thought its kind of oob. But whatever I try nothing works. I read all the time about this DSTS stuff. What is it? I hope I attached the right debug.zip Thank you for your time and work. Danny debug_24093.zip
  4. Hi everyone this is my first post here. Thanks to this excellent guide: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-el-capitan-clover-guide/ (and a little bit of my own intuition). I was able to install OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan on my Dell Latitude E7240 but im having a couple of issues. Audio or sound is not working whatsoever. When I go to the input and output sound settings they both say no devices (even when I plug in headphones. Facetime wont work. It opens and the webcam works, but when I sign in I get a message saying "You cannot sign into FaceTime on this Mac at this time." iMessage is not working either. I just realized but I believe it was working fine when I first installed OS X (Its not so important as I dont have an iPhone anyways) I as going to say sleep when I shut the lid, but now it looks like its fine. I am sure there is a way to repair these because people online have posted having a perfect system with the E7240 but I just can't seem to get these to work. Please help if you have any ideas, it is very similar to a Dell E7440. Thanks in advance
  5. The sound works but not on 5.1. When I use the headphones on web callings such as skype or so the other people hear some noisy sounds like a whistle.
  6. First post, please forgive me for any errors of omission. I currently have a Inspiron 1420/Vostro 1400 with Nvidia graphics running Mavericks 10.9.4. It's totally stable with no kernel panics, but there's one hitch: I don't get any sound from my onboard speakers. If I plug in my headphones, I hear everything loud and clear. I'm reluctant to tinker when everything is so stable, but I also don't want to stop when I'm 99% of the way there. Here's the steps/specifics of my install: I created a bootable USB using the most recent version of myHack, a copy of the 10.9.4 installation app, and the D630 Nvidia Bootpack. The installation went smoothly, but slowly. Since I had some time on my hands, I came back here and stumbled across Axel-Erfurt's amazing thread for D630's with Nvidia graphics. I didn't want to stop an installation that seemed to be proceeding smoothly, so I copied the Extra folder from his D630 Installer and his D630InstallerPost.zip to a second USB Drive. After the installation was completed and I was at the desktop, I plugged in the second USB and ran myHack -> install extra, and used the Extra File copied from the D630 Installer. Ran the D630InstallerPost.zip & restarted. Post restart, I found that I had everything except for sound. So, I downloaded and installed the VoodooHDA_V286_MAV.pkg from sourceforge. It's currently in S/L/E. That got me sound through the headphone jack, but still nothing from speakers. I've thought about copying the VoodooHDA.kext from the D630 Installer into S/L/E, but because it's stable I didn't want to tinker without knowing what would happen.
  7. Hello, When I'm listening music on youtube sometimes my speakers get unplugged, there's no sound and i need to restart chrome or safari to make it work again. Are any sound kexts avaliable for e7440?
  8. Current status of my Hackintosh I can boot using -f cpus=1. Internal Audio isn't working, brightness control isn't working. Without cpus=1 I'm being seen a message System uptime in nanoseconds: I need your help to solve the issue. Thanks in advanced. EDIT 1: I could able to solve kernek panic (cpus=1) using this. EDIT 2: Sound issue fixed with new extension from here. Now only issue is Wi-Fi. It's trying but cannot find any Wi-Fi network though there is two in my home. EDIT 3: Wifi issue is fixed using this kext. All solved! Felling Great
  9. Dell Latitude D830 Nvidia Graphics 4 GB Ram Mavericks 10.9.1 I got Mavericks installed but, I have no sound must of the time it is only recognized during some boots. Are there any kext that will make my sound work all of the time?
  10. Hello Everyone, I am kind of new to the whole hackintosh thing. I have been trying for some time to get one working on multiple systems primarily AMD based. Now though I have a acquired an e6500 and with the help of myHack and the boot backs from this site I have one working for the most part. I do have a few issues I could use some help with. My e6500 has the following issues... 1. no sound 2. no Bluetooth not hugely important to me but I would like to get it working 3. no battery indicator (however is running on battery). 4. When the system goes to sleep I have to manually power it down. 5. The MacOS detects my processor as a 1.52 dual core. However it is actually a 2.53. Interestingly enough I found in the bios the minimum processor speed is 1.52GHZ so it seem to be just running on that. I searched through several forums and found a couple resources but most the links to what I think might work do not seem to be working anymore. If any one has some instructions on what I need to do to get it working I would appreciate it greatly. Please keep in mind I am a very novice mac user, PC's have been my thing for some time so I know those in and out but not mac os. My E6500 BIOS: A18 Detected as a MacBook pro 5,5 Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.52 (however in BIOS is a 2.53GHZ P8700) Audio: IDT 92HD71 (not working) Bluetooth: DW370 (not working) Battery: 9 Cell Extended Battery (no indicator, but works) Memory: 4GB Video: Quadro NVS160M (working) Wireless: Intel (replacing with DW1510 waiting on package from Ebay) Webcam: Integrated (Working) Storage: 2 250gb Hard Drives (Western Digital in Primary, Seagate in Modular Bay instead of DVDRW) (both working)
