maybe your drive is toast see if you can do some low level formatting or check your S.M.A.R.T status for failure? hd 0,2 should be correct if you only have osx installed. disk0 partition2 since partition 1 is efi. it could also be a 4k sector drive. bootloaders are having issues with that. myhack should install to 4k drive... but there is always that one that just refuses.

your graphics probably should load after that. thats might be why it sits there.

which download do i use to test on an old "D"series? i tried your version 4 but trackpad did not respond.

you probably need to use your own dsdt for correct ehci and use the one your using as a guide. or look in bios options for usb and play with the settings.

do you have a bios option to set sata to AHCI? you can also try the boot flag ahcidisk=1 debug=8 -v

type in at the chameleon boot prompt dart=0 -v if it boots you can add the flag to the org.chameleon.Boot.plist in /Extra folder or you need to replace the kext with version 1.3.5

pcmcia stopped working after 10.6.8 your better off replacing the internal wifi card with an osx supported one.

make sure you dont have usb bus fix selected in your org.chameleon.Boot.plist. please post your kernel panic.

put the dsdt in the include folder inside Extra... edp will then use your new dsdt after rebuilding. for resolution edit org.chameleon.Boot.plist and put your native resolution. you can also put a copy of that in the include folder.

failing installs of osx updates is caused by kernel cache not being generated. hence the long boots and shutdowns. check to see if you have AppleACPIPlatform.kext in E/E and in S/L/E if you do remove the one in S/L/E and run a myfix. there are other kexts that can cause the issue also but thats the main one.

have you tried VLC to see if it works? as for native... no i have no solution for you.
