  1. Try gohmac's applescript here. It sets the value at startup. Post #128 above and #129 with instruction how to do it.
  2. Sounds like myHack didn't fully complete before rebooting. Boot with your USB Installer with -v npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=No On the OSX Installer screen, select Utilities, then myHack. Install Chameleon and then run myfix(full).
  3. Yes, it installs these files to SLE and I think HWMonitor to Apps. ACPISensors CPUSensors GPUSensors LPCSensors FakeSMC
  4. You shouldn't have both in EE. If you have VoodooHDA, you'll need AppleHDADisabler as well and remove AppleHDA. If AppleHDA is patched for your sound card, then remove VoodooHDA and AppleHDADisabler and then rerun myHack/myfix/full.
  5. You probably need to roll back airportd if you have dw1397 or dw1395 and perhaps dw1490 as well. File included at bottom of first link. https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2120-supportedunsupported-wireless-cards-inventory/?hl=airportd https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2824-m4300-new-broadcom-1490-not-detected/?hl=airportd&do=findComment&comment=21424
  6. I'm running both ML10.8.5 and Mavericks GM. Battery indicator works everytime if you have the -f switch during boot. I'm using AppleSmartBatteryManager.
  7. Download version 7 If you're using myHack method, put VoodooPS2Controller.kext in EE, otherwise use kextwizard to install to SLE Put VoodooPS2Daemon in Usr/Bin Put VoodooPS2synapticsPane.prefPane in Library/PreferencePanes Update permission with myHack or kextwizard. Reboot
  8. Try this one and remove AppleACPIPS2Nub from your EE. It's included with this kext. Rerun myfix. ApplePS2Controller.kext.zip
  9. Do you have the nvidia card or Intel card?
  10. When you install from a pkg file, it puts all the kexts in SLE. You should move all the installed kext to EE overwriting FakeSMC and re-run my myfix/full.
  11. Can you list what's in Extra/Extension? Does it have voodooHDA or AppleHDA or neither?
  12. https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1945-dsdtssdt-patching/
  13. VoodooPS2Controller if you want scrolling on touchpad, ApplePS2Controller only have basic mouse feature which works best for me. Did you re-run my fix? and did it fix it?
  14. Re-run myHack/myfix/full again. By the way, what are you using for keyboard/mouse? VoodooPS2Controller or ApplePS2Controller?
  15. I think I encountered something similar on a different model. I updated the BIOS and all is good.
  16. Hmmm, did you have to remove AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement or you have both installed? And is sleep working for you?
  17. This one works OTB, no kext or patching needed, it'll just shows up as Third-Party Wireless Device
  18. Which card did you order? Some require patching DSDT and kext, some work OTB.
  19. Yes, use this one to export both DSDT and SSDT files.
  20. Please list your specs in order for assistance.
  21. What Mavericks Extra are you referring to?
  22. Try removing AppleIntelCPUPowerMangement and installing NullCPUPowerManagement.
  23. Here you go VoodooSDHC.kext.zip Depending on your vendID, you might have to edit the info.plist for your specific device.
  24. You can try my bootpack from this guide. Make sure to include AppleIntelFramebufferCapri as well, just leave out the SSDT files.
