  1. well if you need this flag you did not use edp bootpack, -cpus=1 your missing tscsync
  2. im still not clear what os your installing? i saw a mention of a working lion that's about it.
  3. try adding the boot flag dart=0 at the chameleon prompt and see if it helps with that random kp.
  4. you need chameleon 2248 or higher. d830 intel can only go up to lion.
  5. Super Duper or CCC wil clone the mac install. so should disk utility from an installer environment. Clonezilla i believe does both windows and osx.
  6. try booting with the flag arch=x86_64 -v -F (capital f)
  7. right click compatibility page and save as web archive. the heading used to be static i guess it broke when the site was updated.
  8. only thing left is shut off BT from bios and shut off your wifi especially if it's intel. sometimes it had to be removed physically.

    Hello

    lol... welcome to osxl.
  10. i wonder if it's a permissions issue on that file? you can check with propedit app or terminal. i think it's ls -la /path/to/file.
  11. well edp is a database/script repository. it does not know what works off hand. you have to select the options for your build and customize it to your needs. it has advanced options also. you can add kexts or plists that it does not supply into the Extra/Include folder treating it as if it was a second Extra folder. it also should backup you original extra if you need anything from it. the boot packs are just enough kexts for the osx installer to install. bare essentials.
  12. do you have tscsync kext in e/e? if your machine is intel 965 graphics it will have issues in arch=x86_64. you also might need your ioatafamily kext from snow.
  13. starting with version 1.7.8, install the VoodooPS2Daemon sudo cp org.rehabman.voodoo.driver.Daemon.plist /Library/LaunchDaemonssudo cp VoodooPS2Daemon /usr/bin https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Voodoo-PS2-Controller/wiki/How-to-Install i believe thats to store settings.
  14. could be the chameleon GrahpicsEnabler=yes try your findings with the no option.
  15. drag the plist out of the kext to your desktop and edit it there. then replace the one inside the kext. run a my fix after that.
  16. hd 4000 has issues with some displays.... have you tried to see if an external monitor has acceleration? also they just released a new chameleon version that you can specify the framebuffer id's starting from 0 to 11 IntelCapriFB= For Intel HD 4xxx, range 0-11 http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chameleon/source/commit/2261/ here is a list of AAPL,ig-platform-id's. chameleon simplified it and just uses the last digit http://blog.stuffedcow.net/2012/07/intel-hd4000-qeci-acceleration/
  17. did you try the x-201s boot pack on the compatibility page? http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp/compatibility/
  18. you can try this on the d820 and see it it improves it a bit http://www.osxlatitude.com/tuning-performance-with-fakesmc-smbios-plist/
  19. have a look in our compatibility section. http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp/compatibility/
  20. are you using GraphicsEnabler=Yes boot option? if so try turning it off; if off try turning it on. if it's possible in bios set the video ram to 96 mb i believe.
  21. ebios read error is usually usb related. try different ports. -x should get your display to run in vesa mode. so no acceleration. also you have to put the sata in AHCI mode. raid mode will not boot the hdd. you might need a osx compatible graphics card like i do till i can figure out my i3 graphics issue. you have i5 so you also might have graphics issues. jake i found my front usb issue... it was the usb motherboard header was incorrectly seated during manufacturing it was pulling itself out of the socket. half the internal pins where out of the blue connector end.yet the connector head was still in the socket lol.
  22. i have the i3 version 3220 it sleeps and wakes fine. try Imac 13,1 smbios maybe? question do your front ss usb ports function at all? but i had to use nullcpu no sleep enabler. But im having a hell of a time with HD2500 graphics
  23. no thank you! and all the community for making it so. please enjoy your stay. cheers, we are only as good as our peers.
  24. check in /System/Library/Extensions for voodoohda. and /Library/Extensions if you find it then run a my fix to rebuild cache.
  25. is your sata controller set to AHCI in bios?
