  1. did you try it before replacing IOGraphicsFamily.kext?
  2. i don't think clover can handle hybrid MBR disk.
  3. for the picture you posted above you can get past it with NullCPUPowerManagement.kext. Changing the .kext to .bak is just to keep it from loading.
  4. idk maybe a fresh reinstall is in order.
  5. if you can get a copy of the kernel for the version of OS X your installing you can try renaming it mach_kernel and dropping it into the root of the drive and or usb installer. or in the location i posted above.in yosemite it is just called kernel. it might also be you need a newer version of your boot loader with yosemite support.
  6. have you tried from a cold boot. restart sometimes does not release the usb bus so that the bus resets hanging the usb devices connected to the bus.
  7. or post the kexts you installed to Extra/Extensions. you might need to remove acpi kexts if you used older ones in Extra.
  8. might want to search for the newer nforce ata kexts that where released recently.
  9. you might have to point the boot loader to the new kernel location /System/Library/Kernels/kernel
  10. you can upgrade if using clover bootloader with chameleon you can not.
  11. have you tried removing the kext from the clover kext folder and using it in S/L/E instead ?
  12. you probably need to look at the mod cd kernel options as you have an AMD core system.

  14. for EDP you can contact EMlyDinEsH
  15. try adding some of the clover usb fixes and or if your using generic usb kexts add the boot argument flags
  16. you can not rebuild kernel cache from clover or chameleon they are just boot loaders. you have to either use terminal commands or a third party app that does.
  17. have you tried the fakesmc tuning with MBP5,1 smbios?
  18. lol... nothing like a little ingenuity to correct some issues.
  19. maybe you need to check your heatsink fins for dust clogs and maybe refresh the heatsink compound.
  20. check with your boot loaders options for restart/ shutdown fixes. sure you can make a guide
  21. that sounds like a usb issue. if your using genericusb3 kext then you need to maybe try some of the boot flags for the kext. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286860-genericusbxhci-usb-30-driver-for-os-x-with-source/
  22. it did not take the graphicsenabler=no -x maxmem=4096 it does not show in the boot arguments in the picture above. shows other flags though
  23. did you do 18 and 19 from this post https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/7478-dell-latitude-yosemite-install-guide/
