Tested V8 Test1 on E7450 E7=0x73 0x03 0x0a, EC=0x88 0xba 0x2a -Touchpad works quite well, smooth scrolling + inertia. 3 Finger swipe down works. 2 finder swipe (left or right) not work. Pinch not work... -Preference pane works, looks like a real mac's pref pane -Trackstick is not detected, not even the trackstick left or right mouse or middle button -sparotic reboots -won't sleep when lid close, after opening LID, screen stays dark, can't increase brightness until force reboot -sometimes apps won't open and system hangs on E7470 E7=0x73 0x03 0x28, EC=0x73 0x01 0x13 Nov 6 18:17:30 localhost kernel[0]: ApplePS2ALPSGlidePoint::identify: Found ALPS Device with ID E7=0x73 0x03 0x28, EC=0x73 0x01 0x13 Nov 6 18:17:30 localhost kernel[0]: Unknown ALPS touchpad, does not match any known identifiers: E7=0x73 0x03 0x28, EC=0x73 0x01 0x13 Nov 10 12:01:34 localhost kernel[0]: ALPS: Found a V8 touchpad with ID: E7=0x73 0x03 0x28, EC=0x73 0x01 0x13 Nov 10 12:01:34 localhost kernel[0]: ALPS: Found a V8 touchpad with ID: E7=0x73 0x03 0x28, EC=0x73 0x01 0x13 Nov 10 12:01:34 localhost kernel[0]: ALPS: Touchpad driver started -both touchpad and trackstick not detected -preference pane is detected -apps won't launch sometimes using external KB/Mouse -finder hangs -sporatic reboots

El Capitan 10.11.6 (15G31) STATUS: GOOD UPDATE METHOD: APP STORE/SYSTEM UPDATE MODIFICATIONS NEEDED: Same fix applied from 10.11.4 if you're upgrading from 10.11.3 and below or new install using provided bootpacks Yes, you need to update the kexts if you're using the bootpack. There error generating SSDT is fine and can be ignore.
-
You can start be first following my clover guide to create the installer. Use the bootpack E7440 in post #2, but leave out the DSDT/SSDT in ACPI/Patched. Also leave out Voodoops2Controller in Kexts/Other and replace with this one, I believe it's Synaptics. Use the release version Lastly, remove Kexts/Other/LE/AppleHDA_ALC292 and replace it with AppleHDA_ALC255 from post#4 under 10.11.4 Once booted to Clover GUI, hit F4, then continue with the installation. Compress and attach /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin folder here once you have it up and running. The raw files will have to be patched and compile.
-
Replace trackpad preference from El Capitan. You can then enable clicking & tap to drag in the preference pane.

trackpad preference not loading is a known issue on Sierra. You just need to replace it with one from El Capitan. Then you could set the settings.- 58 replies

Try Dr. Hurt's new Alps v7 kext. Keep the USB installer handy in case of KP.- 58 replies

The El Capitan guide will do just fine. You'll just need to update the Config file with patches for Audio from previous posts and the above for wireless when you obtain DW1560.
-
See here for Sierra Kernel by Hervé.

Follow my Clover guide here. Just replace the El Capitan with Sierra app. Once you have the installer created, replace the Clover folder with this one. Continue with the installation from the guide. You'll need to replace the Intel Wireless card with a compatible device if you want wireless connection. For just wireless, go with DW1510. Work OOT but a hot patch is requires if you want it to show AirPort Extreme. For wireless /bluetooth combo, go with DW1550. Additional kexts and hot patches will be required.

If you're using the bootpack from my guide, it's not right for your system's spec. According to your spec above, it has a Haswell processor, the bootpack from my guide is for Broadwell processor. Boot with the USB installer, when you get to the Clover GUI, hit F4. Take the USB installer to an OS X system, mount the EFI partition of the USB installer. Compress and attach the folder /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin. It'll need to be patched according to your system's spec.
