You can't read binary file with a text editor. You need a program like maciasl.app

[Solved] E6430 failed to boot after upgrate to 10.9.4
Jake Lo replied to wellini's topic in The Archive
If you had it in SLE, it gets updated to a vanilla one when you updated to 10.9.4. Always place your patched files in E/E, run myHack/myFix (quick). Make sure you added HDAEnabler=Yes in o.c.b.p too. -
Just downloaded the file, looks fine here. Try to redownload.

Dell Latitude 6430u with i7-3667U & HD 4000 (Mavericks)

Updates Sept 07, 2014 STATUS: Just noticed the SSDT in the bootpack above is corrupted. Attached include the fixed file along with a few others. i7-3667U, i7-3687U, i5-3437U Picked the one for your processor, rename it to SSDT.aml and place in /Extra SSDT.zip Mavericks Update 10.9.5 STATUS: GOOD UPDATE METHOD: APP STORE/SYSTEM UPDATE MODIFICATIONS NEEDED: Make sure to replace patched kernel to /Extra prior to rebooting Also make sure to replace corrupted SSDT mentioned above too! If you forgot to replace patched kernel prior to updating and rebooted, boot with following flags and replace files mentioned > mach_kernel -F -f -x mach_kernel_1095.zip -
Here you go, let me know if it makes it run better. ssdt.aml.zip

GameOver69, I assume you have replace the FB for the higher resolution? What processor do you have? i5 what? I could generate the correct SSDT for you, perhaps it might fix the issue.
-
did you redo this step on the new SSD? 20. Restart, go to BIOS, add Boot entry of /EFI/Clover/Cloverx64.efi in your EFI partition, move it to the top, save and restart, you should see Clover screen and option to boot to Mavericks. Enjoy!
-
Hopefully it'll get fixed in 10.9.5, otherwise go back to 10.9.3 and use FB from 10.9.1
-
It's a known issue. Apple has change the codes for HD 4400/HD 4600. No fix so far. Restore your FB so you'll get Qe/CI, just can't use HDMI for now.
-
lightwarrior, this mini-ssdt is for an ivy-bridge HD graphics, you have the 1st gen i7 processor. Get the patched FB right for you graphics from your first post. Remove the ssdt, add generate p and c states in org.chameleon.boot.plist
-
No issue with headphone jack. See Herve's guide here. What's the specs of your system?

remove the following files or back it up somewhere and repair permission and reboot. See if it makes a difference. AppleGraphicsControl AppleTyMCEDriver AppleUpstreamUserClient

Try this for 10.9.4 assuming you have 64mb dedicated ram for platformid 9 AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext.zip

I usually install OS X first on the first partition where Chameleon boot loader resides and Windows on second partition.
-
Yes, Windows8 work perfectly fine on AHCI
-
Have you tried building myHack installer without the MBR patch and without the mini-ssdt? Not sure what else is patched in this mini-ssdt which could be the root of your issue. Boot with just -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No.
-
Ok, how about this one ?
-
Can you confirm if you got full graphics acceleration? Perhaps try different platform-id.
-
Try the version linked from my signature below Exx30_touchpad. Worked well on my E6230.
-
Go here, grab my bootpack for Envy 14. Copy IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext and LegacyAppleAHCIPortIntelICHx.kext to /Extra/Extension, run my fix(quick) and try again.
-
ok, then you'll use the 10.9.3 files. Make sure to delete the ones in my bootpack. Delete the following from /Extra/Extensions and /System/Library/Extension and replaced with the new files in /Extra/Extension and run my fix (quick) AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext AppleIntelHDGraphicsGA.plugin AppleIntelHDGraphicsGLDriver.bundle AppleIntelHDGraphicsVADriver.bundle Make sure you have the correct graphicsMode set in the boot.plist too. Use Chameleon Wizard for that, it can generate a serial for you too, don't need multi fail for that

Get the latest graphics files here . I'm assuming you're install Mavericks 10.9.4. For E6410, you can only get CI, so use Intel HD Graphics CI 10.9.4.
