  1. you probably need to set your bios to boot from usb. look into your bios. that board spec says socket 1155 and lists sandy cores. ivy also came in 1155 socket. if lion is not running well try a newer apple os.
  2. latest edp is at 772 reinstall EDP. https://code.google.com/p/osxlatitude-edp/source/list
  3. you can try by using the my hack generic boot pack. it might get you started. but try searching the forum I'm sure there are some similar machines here.
  4. was the screen serviced before? maybe it is upside down.
  5. yes you can just use chameleon wizard or champlist. you can also edit the plist manualy.
  6. i wonder if it has to do with the "app power saving feature" they implemented in mavericks maybe it trickles down even to kexts.
  7. that was for a corrupted myhack.kext..... you should not have to do that every time. but glad it helped
  8. have you tried the HasDualLink option in the newer chameleon options? in the chameleon help choice
  9. have you tried adding the generic usb 3 kext to you extra folder?
  10. if your using chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) you will have these issues.
  11. delete /System/Library/Extension/myHack.kext and reinstall myhack utility. sometimes that happened when you run my hack from inside the dmg. pull it to applications first then from there install my hack utility.
  12. ok what os are you installing, which version of d630 and what boot pack are you using? if you used generic extra from my hack that might be the culprit. d630 needs a few more kexts then what generic provides. http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp/compatibility/
  13. check your bios options for different virtualization options and shut em down it might help. if you can't then try Dart=0 flag. some times it works sometimes it don't.
  14. maybe try messing with the bios setting for vt-d and virtual
  15. well you cant upgrade. you have to install the os with myhack.
  16. in terminal sudo nvram -d boot-args
  17. i know on the 340, 350 and 360 you had to install the drivers on windows first to initialize it. it then loads the firmware.
  18. you might need to re dump and re patch your dsdt. the memory registers might have shifted. but I'm not 100% on that. if your machine allows booting without dsdt use the boot flag DSDT=null -v and see if it gets past that error.
  19. mm like Herve says. your current machine identifier might not be maverick compatible choose an smbios of a mac that can run mavericks. http://www.apple.com/osx/specs/
  20. i think they changed the commands for chameleon here is a link to chameleon svn help file http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chameleon/source/tree/HEAD/trunk/doc/BootHelp.txt you should also be able to get it from the chameleon boot options as a choice.
  21. try with GraphicsEnabler=No or Yes
  22. you have to add the method. depending on your compiler it probably has a patch to insert the method.
  23. have you tried without the mbr patch? normal guid
