well I changed a couple things in your config but I also came across this https://github.com/okiookio/M4800-Hackintosh also for now to simplify troubleshooting only put the kexts in the clover other folder. having them in multiple places tends to break things. config.plist.zip

I don't know if the upload limit has been corrected yet but you can try zipping your config file and attaching it using the more reply option maybe it's something simple.

hmm that command should not stop sleep mode from working. it just changes it from hibernation to simple sleep. default value is 3 incase you want to revert you can see current status using pmset -g

do you have a proper layout id configured for your audio? also do you have graphics acceleration? what does graphics say for v-ram amount?

your link links back to this thread. have you disabled hibernate mode using terminal? sudo pmset hibernatemode 0

hmm the lilu brcm plugin has the fcvo patch built in

see if you can turn off hardware acceleration in Firefox then.

from recovery you can clone your existing drive using Disk Utility. after that mount your existing efi and also transfer it to the cloned drive or a usb stick then test it to make sure all is fine.

do you have fix headers clover patch?

you might benefit from using lilu.kext and some of it's plugins like intelgraphicsfixup and shiki add them to your clover kext folder 10.13 or other folder.

at the clover menu hit the letter O then go to section that says kernel patch and select those 2 options. if it works for you you can add them permanently to your config.plist with something like cloverconfigurator app

try adding clover kernel lapic patch and appleintelcpupm you can add the options from clover options menu there located in kernel and kext patch section

use fixheaders acpi patch and appleintelcpupm you will later need lilu.kext and a few of it's plugins. like intelgraphicsfixup, applealc using i think layout 15 or 11 for audio and shiki to playback protected content. you will also need aptiofix or osxaptiodrv3 from clover installer to have native nvram.

for your backlight issue you can try replacing clover driver osxaptiofixdrv or 2 whichever your using from clover installer's configure tab with either osxaptiofixdrv3 or better yet aptiofix driver only use one of those 2 drivers . the latest clover installer should have at least osxaptiofixdrv3 as an option. if you chose to compile clover yourself with Build_Clover.command script then it will also build aptiofix driver option into the clover installer which is usually a better option then what clover has built in. if for some reason your machine gets stuck at boot because of changing this driver you can try boot with slide=0 boot option/ flag from clover GUI.

well I guess once you have at least the App Store working from the distro install you can download the os and try recreating a clean installer and maybe partition the drive and try install your own fresh copy to it.

if your wifi is intel based then it needs to be replaced as there is no native support for them in osx

Distro's are nice as a learning curve. but here we suggest making your own installer usb from the App Store downloads. Distro's manipulate alot of things to magically work. being so when something does not work it is a hassle to figure out what went wrong as you are experiencing at the moment. if possible when booting uefi press space bar at the clover prompt and boot with verbose option. that should give you more info.

probably need to make a new dump of the DSDT/ SSDT's while its connected to the media bay and also an ioreg dump.

maybe your hardware is I2C not PS2
