try resetting nvram in case there are some rough values from the old EFI

it might be trying to update the non existent apple mac firmware. if using OC there is option to not allow it as we do not need that on a hack. i don't recall what it is off the top of my head but it's in the OC documentation.

you can try layout id 13 and 29 they seem to be for a asus x55 system

it is not that it is impossible. it is just that none of the devs that would have the skills to code for it have the machine. necessity is the mother of invention.

most likely has to do with filevault. or BT see if you can disable any new vault related features can try with man pmset or pmset -g log to see what is going on

panic shutdown info is stored in nvram that's how it knows your previous shutdown was not successful.

clear nvram.

did you clear nvram? if not the value stays.

the microsoft folder is not automatically added / created in OC. windows creates it when you install windows in efi mode.

did you add the microsoft folder to your EFI? you have to transfer it

do you have sata set to AHCI? you might need acpi HPET device patched or voodootscsync kext added.

what is the native resolution of your LCD

last time that led's worked was in leopard 10.5

lion 10.7 would be your last stop but you need to run in 32 bit arch.

have you tried calibrating your screen ?

try clone the hynix to the western digital see if it works that way.

mac OS does not support optimus graphics. windows does.
