No, the kexts in Other stays in Other. The kexts in Other/LE should be copied to /Library/Extensions and then run the commands above.

Do you mean HDMI audio or video? Post IOReg IORegistryExplorer_v2.1.zip with HDMI connected.

Using latest Clover Configurator v4.53 (at time of writing), open Config.plist Under ACPI, fixes #2, enable FixHeaders_20000000 Under SMBIOS, generate a new key which will add Firmware Feature and Mask

[SOLVED] Latitude E6530 High Sierra Upgrade using Clover
Jake Lo replied to esmith1966's topic in The Archive
That bootpack is for model with HD4000 Only, your system has dual GPU. Try this bootpack, replace to /EFI/Clover It should disable the Nvs5200m, but HDMI won't work. If you want to use HDMI, you'll need to disable Optimus. I'll upload another bootpack for that after I tested it. E6530_Optimus.zip -
boot in verbose mode and post the crash

If you're on BIOS v A15, I have the bootpacks here There's on for HD 4400 and one for HD 5500

[SOLVED] Latitude E6530 High Sierra Upgrade using Clover

I mean does the system only have HD 4000 or it has Optimus ? For me HDMI only works with NVS5200m, but according to FrostytheSnowman, he's able to get HDMI working with both Optimus and only HD4000 on Sierra. See his E6430 guide here -
Try this one

Does this have Optimus NVS5200m or just HD 4000? Which OS X did you upgrade from? Boot with verbose mode to determine the issue. -
Add HFSPlus.efi to /EFI/Clover/driver64UEFI or remove VboxHfs from the Disable Drivers in the Config file

macOS Sierra on dell E5430 non v-pro fully working
Jake Lo replied to karimtosh's topic in The Archive
can you try downgrading to other version beside A03? -
You have 2 version of HFFPlus* and OsxAptioFix* in driver64UEFI Keep HFSPlus.efi an OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi I don't think the problem is DSDT problem, I think problem lies somewhere else. Go ahead and upgrade to latest Clover v4233

Maybe this may help, regarding creating a Recovery HD http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/292560-add-a-recovery-partition-on-a-triple-boot-drive/ Installing from an USB installer will automatically convert to APFS unless your drive is not SSD but old mechanical drive

You must not have the latest ACPIBatteryManager v1.81.3 either that or you have another version else where. Just need it in /E/C/k/Other

ELAN, FocalTech and Synaptics (Smart Touchpad) Driver
Jake Lo replied to EMlyDinEsH's topic in Smart Touchpad
@miketeok, If by install, you mean having it in /L/E or /S/L/E and editing the file there, then you only need to repair permission and rebuild cache. If you're editing it somewhere else and placing it into /L/E or /S/L/E, do the same But if you're editing it and having it in /E/C/k/Other, then no, just need to edit it. -
You can't do upgrade with Chameleon. You'll have to create an installer and install on top.

macOS Sierra on dell E5430 non v-pro fully working
Jake Lo replied to karimtosh's topic in The Archive
I thought once it's enabled, it can't be disable. How did you do it? See if you could disable Signed Firmware Update before downgrading. http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/sln260647/the-latitude--optiplex-and-precision-systems-may-not-be-updated-to-a-higher-bios-version-patch-due-to-bios-upgrade?lang=en -
See post #2 and 3 here

I mentioned it here in post #3 with the link I provided on post #4 above regarding HFS+ preservation. Check your Config under GUI/Theme. Change it if it's not the theme you were using.

See post #2 and 3 here if you're doing an inplace upgrade
