  1. Generic EFI here v4769 and bootpack for E7240 here, goes into /EFI/Clover
  2. Hmm, Clover from SourceForge is usually the latest and does support the latest MacOS Mojave. At Clover boot screen, press the spacebar. Select verbose and debug 0x100 mode, continue with the installation. Post KP if you encounter it
  3. Sorry, I mean do you have audio out from Displayport. No IOReg file attached
  4. Does speaker work? Does HDMI Audio work? All the ALC255 in AppleALC is for laptops. Try requesting for patching from InsanelyDeepak . Include everything he requested to get it started.
  5. you should enter it during boot under Option->Graphics?
  6. Post system full spec or add it to signature file Assuming your system is Haswell with no discrete graphics, you could start with using my E7440 bootpack here https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/6472-dell-latitude-e7240e7440/?do=findComment&comment=86943
  7. Boot with the USB installer and then select the installed drive. Now you should be able to mount
  8. We don't support unifail stuff here. Please read the Forum user agreement Replace bootpack from here, goes into /EFI//Clover replace the files https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/9179-dell-latitude-e7x70-clover-uefi-only/?do=findComment&comment=86790 You'lll need to add HFSPlus.efi to drivers64UEFI if it doesn't detect your drive If you encounter KP during boot, then boot with FakeID 0x12345678. Once booted, rebuild cache Reboot normally.
  9. Post your Clover folder you're using to boot
  10. Add CodecCommander.kext to /L/E Repair permissions and rebuild cache
  11. Did you include the kexts folder too? Boot with Verbose + debug 0x100 and post the kernel panic screenshot
  12. Those are not the files I attached. Here, updated DSDT with SDCard reader too Replace the Config and DSDT file In /L/E I see you have AppleHDA.kext, not sure if that's a patched file. In any event, remove it. Restore a vanilla version of AppleHDA.kext to /S/L/E Repair permissions and rebuild cache FixAudio2.zip
  13. verbose is only needed if you run into issue during boot unless you prefer looking at text during boot FakeID for IntelGFX had been moved to Devices/Properties inline with WhateverGreen. If you replace the ACPI and use my Config, you will have issue. The ACPI and Config file from my bootpack are configured to go together. If you're able to install Mojave successfully, that means the files are fine.
  14. What do you mean empty? I just checked, you must have a bad download
  15. Are you sure it''s ALC255 because on another thread with 3020, it's showing ALC280. Nevermind, the pdf shows ALC255. Change layout-id to 13 and and enable FixMutex in your Config In kexts/Other, remove Shiki.kext, IntelGraphicsFixup.kext, and AzulPatcher4600.kext and replace with WhateverGreen.kext. config.plist.zip
  16. Use my latest files from here https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/6472-dell-latitude-e7240e7440/?do=findComment&comment=86943
  17. @jean512 Lilu is needed for graphics acceleration. Is the error re-occurring or just the 1 time?
  18. Use my latest files from here https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/6472-dell-latitude-e7240e7440/?do=findComment&comment=86943
  19. Post new debug file https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/10209-how-to-generate-proper-problem-reporting-files/
  20. Hervé explained it best here https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/8723-enabling-dvidphdmi-and-increasing-vram-with-intel-haswell4th-gen-hd420044004600etc-igpu/?page=1 Your internal monitor is on port #6 FB@1, while HDMI is on port #5 FB@0, hence why I patched port #5, changing the priority from 09 to 12 (known issue on some Haswell when external monitors are connected). You're thinking of FB@0, port 0 like a laptop, but in your system port 0 is at FB@2, same as on the real IMac. Post your debug file
  21. @TheOtherOne Just realized you're on E6540 and not E7240. If this doesn't work, please open a new thread for E6540 and post issue there. Remove from /L/E FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext Restore a vanilla AppleHDA.kext to /S/L/E Replace DSDT and Config file from attachment Remove USBInjectAll.kext and replace it with the attached kext Repair permissions and rebuild cache AudioFix.zip
  22. In Finder, click Go->Go to Folder, enter that path. You don't need to use my file, you could adjust the settings to your liking. Mine is just an example of my own preference. Have the USB installer handy incase of a crash. I don't mean from installing Karabiner-Elements but from other things you do.
