what happens if you select "gather windows" so that the options display on one screen can you then edit them? also have you tried holding the windows key or alt key depending on keyboard setup while in the display prefpane so that detect screen option shows

you can try adding the full bundle identifier id to all your kext to patch instead of just the name of the kext that you are patching. it would be like com.apple.driver.blahblah or com.apple.iokit.blahblah. you can open the about this mac more info window. go down to where it says extensions wait for them to load then look up the kexts click the ones your patching and look at bundle identifier. as a second option you can also try adding lilu kext and the airport lilu plugin. if it works then you can probably get rid off all your wifi patches in your config and might also have to remove the rehabman wifi kext

have you updated all the kexts and bootloader plus config.plist to prepare it for the new os?

What happens after you manually reboot it do you see an installer option at the bootloader GUI if so select it to continue the upgrade.

could be. but you can just use one of those giftcard CC's it does not even have to have money on it. you just need the info to fill out on apple site.

well if your friends worked and yours does not then you probably need to call apple support. your account might be blacklisted

post your clover folder without the theme folder, compress it and attach

you are supposed to move the le folder files and install it to the harddrive Library/Extensions folder not back into clover kexts other folder

did you install the kexts in LE folder to /Library/Extensions?

yes you need to update lilu and any of it's associated plugins for 10.13.2

it might be the same bios glitch issue as the E6X30 series. that machine glitches after bios A11 or A12 you have to downgrade bios to I think A03 then back up to A11 or A12. its documented on the site somewhere.

what happens if you shutdown windows instead of restarting then start osx from a cold boot meaning the computer is off.

make sure you do not have 2 EFI folders. sometimes you have one on root and one in efi.

when it fails are you connected to the internet either through ethernet or wifi? not being connected or not having working internet access can cause the failure.

hake sure to have hfsplus.efi and or apfs.efi in clover/drivers folder you need them so the os sees the drive. also make sure sata is set to ahci in bios.

yes caps lock is a known OSX bug.

try closing the lid and reopening (sleep /wake) it that might clear up the garbled screen..

if your running into waiting for root device from usb installer then try different USB ports.

did you regenerate the caches and prelinked kernel it might still be in one of those.

you would have to have the kext in L/E or S/L/E so that it would be in cache for clover to patch it. running it from clover/kexts it will not get patched.
