  1. in the installers command prompt you can type in the terminal command sw_vers it should state what os version it is.
  2. USB patches changed for 10.13.4 to confirm check to see if you see the cam on your USB bus.
  3. depending on your clover version you might have to reapply fixheaders acpi option with something like clover configurator app.
  4. there are boot flags you can try in the nvidia graphics fixup readme on the link... but that card is also upgradable it looks like it is MXM connection i found a link they tried to upgraded to a GTX980. but i guess you can just get a HS compatible card later down the road.
  5. yes i believe your correct on that but i think it might have broken also on some of the newer sierra updates as well. have you tried using lilu and it's plugin nvidiafixup kext
  6. have you just tried high sierra it has some native support for some graphics.
  7. https://github.com/lvs1974/AirportBrcmFixup/releases
  8. if you emulate an smbios of a APPLE machine that uses soldered on ram then it will not have the memory tab.
  9. try reinstalling over your existing install using the combo update.
  10. not sure about that one but I know the middle finger gesture still works... especially around cab drivers!
  11. maybe thats the problem! how do you add him to the cache? he is in the kexts folder!!!
  12. good idea posting over at IM since maybe one of the clover dev's could look into it since it has PHOENIX bios they might have a better grasp on that. or maybe the aptiomemoryfix dev although most of his work is based on clovers osxaptiofixdrv that was made for AMI bios.
  13. some people have reported the prefpane to work after connecting a usb mouse. how it's related I am not sure
  14. i do not recall ever seeing that before.
  15. but where is that root dmg flag comming from?
  16. you have alot of flags can you just try -v and debug it looks like you also do not have a prelink cache.
  17. BT and webcam issues can be related to USB detection issue. the trackpad you can probably adjust the "finger z" value in the kext info.plist file to your liking.
  18. with aptiomemoryfix you do not use emuvariable but like i said the modules are made for AMI bios. try none of the aptio and only emuvariable alone.
  19. yes jake i recall it did have CSM as i had asked him to try disabling it to see if it interfered
  20. ok the issue most likely is that the bios is phoenix..... aptiomemoryfix and the older osxaptiofixdrv are intended for AMI bios. i do not know if phoenix bios you have to use emuvariable with RC shutdown scripts instead which is not native nvram.
  21. is that drive encrypted ? also who makes your bios. AMi, Intel, or Phoenix
  22. sorry to hear that. but installing osx is definitely possible. maybe if you are using clover you should just put the kexts in kexts/other folder instead of using apps. also the legacy/UEFI issue you mention depends on the option you chose in your bios.
  23. i think kext wizard puts the files in S/L/E so you might have conflicting versions of the same drivers in other locations including clover kexts folder and E/E
  24. check your bios for disabled lan card. as for dim backlight you probably do not have nvram functioning correctly.
