  1. you might need to add the chameleon flag ForceFullMemInfo=Yes in your org.chameleon.Boot.plist under kernel flags section for the newer chameleon versions to work for your machine. you can try entering it manually at the boot prompt to test.
  2. i had a similar issue with an intel SSD i had to install chameleon with my hack a few times for chameleon to take in a row. i think my boot sector is a 4k sector drive. it's a known chameleon issue. has nothing to do with the install methods. as for the installer and snow leopard the fault is a bug in my hack. cloning (Restoring in Disk Utility) the apple retail installer to the usbpen first then installing my hack to the installer and your desired Extra folder should work fine.
  3. in layman's terms herve said it might blow up!!! just kidding..... or....
  4. try adding this natit kext to where ever you have your kexts. it is from here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286092-guide-1st-generation-intel-hd-graphics-qeci/ the thread is for first gen graphics but that natit helps with HD2500 you might not get acceleration though.
  5. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/238847-get-your-uvc-webcam-working-as-apple-isight/ try that
  6. have you tried resetting bios back to default then re enabling AHCI?
  7. if your using myhack mbrpatch then that is what is causing the installer to get stuck at language selection most probably. make the installer without that option. but you will have to then install with guid partitioning. or google for an mbr patch and apply that instead.
  8. try Asus K53SV (i7 2630QM) if there is an ssdt.aml and it is for cpu power manegment of that i7 2630QM remove it. if the DSDT is modified for graphics like dual link / high resolution screen and yours does not have that then it might look weird at boot like split screen. in a case like that you can boot with the flay DSDT=null to bypass dsdt loading
  9. http://www.broadcom.com/products/Bluetooth/Bluetooth-RF-Silicon-and-Software-Solutions/BCM2070 i guess you do have BT. yet the OP says it does not. you have to edit the device ids in the broadcom BT kext
  10. are there any new bios updates for your machine? also there are instances where some machine bioses do not see a guid partition at all.
  11. you might have to try with clover boot loader maybe. it has aptio bios fixes you might need.
  12. are you telling it to hide disk1 partition2 in the boot plist? is that your linux harddrive? if you hide it it wont show at boot. you can also try upgrading chameleon.
  13. have you tried some of the boot flags if your using the genericusb3 kext?
  14. you can also patch nodes in voodoohda look at it's plist
  15. have you updated the kext for the lan?
  16. you need xcode installed to use myhacks mbr patch. so what your experiencing is normal if you run the patch without xcode. google for a mbr perl script for your os.
  17. didnt they have to replace a file? airportd or something?
  18. you might have to update clover as there was a slow timer bug.
  19. looks like you need a lapic patched kernel or try the chameleon kernel patcher module. you can get it from chameleon wizard app. HP is known for having this issue.
  20. did you match your native screen resolution in the Boot.plist if using chameleon edit it with chameleon wizard app.
