put a manual ip address that conforms to your routers ip range.192.168.x.x -
even though it says it has failed sometimes. it usually still boots have you tried just booting to the drive without reinstalling? sometimes the cache causes it to fail install.

in terminal type lspci -nn it will list your hardware. add your kext to Extra/Extensions and run a my fix quick option. no need to reinstall -
it is usually best practice to relocate or remove the apple kext in S/L/E and use the one in E/E the version bumped one "1111" is inside myhack.kext plugins running a my fix injects your E/E kexts to my hack.kext

I'm having the same video issue on a D630 nvidia with 10.9.2 works perfect in mountain lion. edit : it was caused by aicpupm kext provided in edp. i had to use the one 10.9.2 comes with if not it would break sleep and reboot. -
you can check in chameleon wizard app the option to enable backlight and see if that works.

for boot 0 error no. thats a chameleon install issue. you might have to retry installing it multiple times or install it manually. or try with chameleon wizard app.- 29 replies

boot0 error is an issue with the boot loader. reinstall chameleon or use another usb stick. not all usb sticks are bootable.- 29 replies

2 finger scroll does not work per say on a d630. it is more of a one finger scroll.

that dump seemed incomplete or corrupted. maybe use a newer or different method to dump it again.

you sure it's a cmos reset? usually the bios has a tendency to hang. but does not wipe all settings or time like a cmos reset would. hitting ESC key and enter a few times help speed the process. -
